Check Charging System

Anyone ever have issues with the charging system? I have a 2018SR5 81k with brand new alternator and battery. Charging system warning came back on. At this point I think it’s a ground issue or the charging system itself is faulty. Please let me know if anyone has experienced anything similar. Thank you!

 

Have you checked the output of the alternator to see what it’s putting out

 

Were you sitting with the key on but the engine not running? If so, that's a standard warning message that comes up and can be ignored.

 

You really checked charging with digital multimeter, and engine running? 13.5 volts - 14 volts means alternator is charging. What is condition of serpentine belt? Frayed? Check out the obvious things first.

 

Do the battery cables look completely clean or possibly some corrosion on the terminals or possibly has crept under the insulation beyond view?
