    ***BUYER BEWARE ***
The chasis unlimited octane front bumper looks awesome and is easy to install but after miles of driving the bumper bracket shifts to the right I'm assuming due to the vibrations of driving the bumper bracket starts to rub on your AC discharge line causing the freon to escape. I've contacted chasis unlimited and they said that this is the first time hearing about this issue and pretty much said theres nothing they can do. I have seen another thread (I believe a 4runner fourm) with people claiming the same issue and they mentioned if we can get enough people with the same issue there can possibly be a lawsuit due to chasis unlimited not taking any responsibility whatsoever. Has any one had any of this issue? If not I would recommend checking the clearance on your bumper bracket to the AC line. Only way to avoid this is to modify and cut the corner of the bumper bracket.

Probably a hard case to take on since they basically sold you parts and they didn't install it.
You have a justification to express concern and thanks for bringing the potential problem to our attention.
It seems like every other vehicle out there, you see everybody and his brother fabbing parts.

Here is the picture of the the bumper hitting the AC line. Keep it mind the clearance when initially installing it is good but the bumper moves and ends up puncturing the line.

Yes, alot of backyard fabricators but Chasis unlimted is a pretty big company I'd assume they'd back thier product with some kind of warranty or let the customers know about the issue instead of claiming they never heard about it.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
    This suggests a class-action lawsuit.
There's only one entity that benefits in the end - the attorney(s). Those affected generally get squat.
This is something the installer should have noticed and accommodated.
When you choose to play (mod), you're gonna pay in some fashion.

When installing the bumper the clearance is THERE I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue bud.

This is pretty much a spot on description of my situation I lost fluid for my A/C system due to the bumper shifting and rubbing against the AC line Toyota quoted me $600+ to repair but would not touch it unless I fixed the bumper bracket because it would only happen again. So I had to trim the bumper and replace the AC line. I'm currently emailing Chasis unlimited and they sent me a return label to return the bumper under warranty.

Won't happen as you did the install, you are responsible for what happens after install. If they did it then they are responsible.

Yup pretty aware of that they offered to give money back to return bumper but still end up eating the repair costs sooo that's that.

Chassis Unlimited has been in business for nine years. It has four employees and does a bit more than $1M in sales yearly. It's not a big company dude, it's like all the other little fab companies that make accessories for trucks. Truth is very few companies that make accessories like this bumper have any real size. Point is you installed it, you are liable for damages incurred.

Ethier way I had to sped $600 on this repair which made this bumper more expensive than a CBI bumper lol smh so whoever bought this bumper is likely to have the same issue as me and the freon on these AC systems anit cheap. They're are barely going to start changing the mounting brackets on these things so if you bought one prior catch it before it messes up your AC system I learned the hard way and chasis unlimted wont help Ethier.

Noticed the little clearence between the bumper and the ac line when I put the same front on a couple months ago. I just bent the ac line back out of the way and added some rubber to the edge of the bumper incase it ever hit, since its the core support bouncing all over the place and not the bumper which is solid mounted. If the bumper shifts, you didn't tighten it tight enough. Also had to bend/make new brackets for the oil cooler, which wasn't a big deal. In my opinion its installer error, as you should pay attention to stuff like that, since every truck is different and nothing is perfect in the real world, especially since you're taking the stock stuff off and throwing fabbed up stuff on.

The core support has nothing to do with the bumper moving and I wouldn't bend my aluminium AC line to clear it from bumper I'd rather cut the bracket of bumper off to clear the AC line IMO. I even put lock tite on nuts prior on tourqing them down. How close are you to the line ? Have a picture?

The bumper shouldn't shift at all if you tightned everything enough. I've bashed mine on rocks and its been in the same exact place since first install. And my line is probably a finger distance away. The core support also flexs a bunch ontop of the bracket being close, so its just another thing to think about.
