Changing door lock settings in Techstream

I have a 2010 trd sport and want to change the door lock settings while using the fob using techstream 14.10.028 and my mini vci cable. I have techstream working and can read all the ecu s but cant seem to find where to change the settings. I want to be able to unlock all the doors with one touch of the unlock button. Anyone have any ideas?

 

It's been a couple years since I used my copy to do the same to my door locks.

Going by memory, I thought it was in the customization settings section.

If you got the program working, I bet you will be able to find it with some trial and error. You really can't hurt anything messing around with the settings.

 

I played around with it for an hour and a half I see the customization but u can only customize after you read the certain different ecus. I have checked them all and dont see an option for changing it. I found the section for reprogramming a key. Maybe you cant do it on a 2010?

 

I guess I don't know. I was able to change my settings on a 1998, 2004 and a 2008 with now problem.

I have heard of the latest versions can be buggy, maybe roll back to an older version of the TS software?

 

Anybody know where I could get an older version?

 

I belong to a thread on tundra talk .com that has most of the versions available.

Gonna take some research to locate it.

I am interested in doing the same thing to my 2010. Also want to turn off the relock after 30 seconds.

Hmm It must be my version of techstream because I dont see any of those options in the video

 

If you look at the video title it says Lexus GS350. It has its own options which are not the same as a Tacoma.

All Toyota, Lexus ECUs are not the same.

In other words the Video doesn't apply to a Tacoma. You don't have those options. If they were available you would see them.

And just to clear it up. The option to unlock all doors with one push of the FOB doesn't exist on the Tacoma.

 

I was gonna say i dont remember that option being under the customize able features in techstream for my taco.

 

Im surprised it's not listed for your truck.

 

Get us a screenshot showing the option in Techstream to unlock all door with one click while connected to your truck. I'd love to see it.

Note: I am not discussing aftermarket add on alarm systems such as a Carr Alarm System etc, just factory options.

I could be wrong and I love to learn things, but I've never seen it.

 

Hmm maybe its not an option thats why i dont see it. Although I swear Ive seen posts saying you can on here maybe Im mistaken

 

Could you post screenshots of what your options are? I've been interested in picking up a techstream cable
