I broke my center console latch under the armrest but I cannot find the damn part #. Does anyone have a clue?

I thought it was #15 but all the sites ive visited listed it as manual transmission only and that should be the hinge which is on the rear. I need the tab you pull up on to open it.

If its another part let me know or if anyone has one. Thanks!

It might part of number 12, the lid assembly.

What a coincidence, mine broke the exact same way and in fact tried to epoxy it this evening without success. It stays latched as is for the most part, but I'll probably replace it eventually.

Agreed. Something will be a tad off. Maybe check with a few that do 3d printing on here.
@MESO maybe can come up with a more durable version.

Mine broke as well and went to the dealership. $22 later I had a brand new one!

Stumbled upon this thread while searching for a lid latch replacement. It would seem the previous owner of my truck had a similar issue with the latch and added a very weak spring. I took the latch off in hope to potentially bend the spring back into tension, my hope was quickly squashed by the reality that the spring was some random one that the previous owner found in his garage or something.
After 30-40 minutes of wrestling with it, the spring is now discarded as I was unable to get it back in it's magical original position; not to mention the pin that holds the latch hinge in place is made of some very soft aluminum, that easily bent while pulling it out of the hinge.

Just found this assembly replacement, but it's kind of expensive for a such a simple part.

All I did to "fix" this issue is lightly glue a few pads of a stiff closed cell foam inside the v hinge area, just enough tension to keep the latch closed, works great, cost nothing and cannot even see the area.

Having said that, the latest OEM P/N is 58971-0C040 and are all over the place for +- $15.00

You have an aftermarket part noted.

    Thank you, Chris.
I'll definitely take your fix into consideration; right now I am focused on upgrades, and other mods. The center console latch, while it already annoys me, will have wait until I am at my witts end with it. :)
