Lunar rock reminds me of the pearly white 4 door jeeps i see around the city.

Feels bougie to me, street queen vibe.

You can get ALL the groceries in a lunar rock 4runner

I'm still surprised by how much the cement colour changes depending on lighting conditions, dirt levels and angle of viewing.

But what @SmokeyTacoAZ said on page 2 makes total sense. It’s some sort of optical illusion.

I think LR isn’t bad, but I like cement a lot more. I’d say cement, quicksand, and cavalry blue are my top colors in that order.

They are super hard to tell apart for me. I would have loved AG, it really suits this truck. And colors are always personal preference it seems

Most bet against Cav Blue (it did not sell) and I understand that this now commands the highest premium.

I think Cav Blue is one of the best colors.

My ranking is LR (of course) Cav Blue, Army Green, QSand, Cement... In that order...

I really like the non metallic Grays - Cement would rank higher, but is is (lightly) metallic and it is too much like silver. (AND mostly - there are already WAY too many cements out there!)

I have a thing for Army Green - it started from the classic Land Rover defenders. (Sane for the Khaki color = Quicksand). I was all over army green until I saw it in person... - the Taco's green is a shade too dark and shows swirls like crazy - not great for an off roader.

    - I do not think classic defenders or Land Cruisers were ever made in Black!

The LR (Unlike the photos...) has the benefit of the Gray (+ non metallic) plus a bit of the olive drab feel... This is what appealed to me once I saw it in person...

    - I have gotten a number of (always favourable) comments ... including some along the lines of 'cute' and 'girly' from a few women... - It is fine. I am good with it!:rofl:

    the good ones
I like the Lunar Rock because I associate that green with sagebrush and salvia and some other desert plants that I see every day at work, but it is a weird color for a truck.

Interested to see how it ages, Silver Sky & Quicksand both look great now that I'm used to seeing them around town.

Lunar Rock does not photograph well. It comes across as minty, but In real life its fantastic. It has a real mill-spec, sagebrush thing going on.

I scratched mine within the first week of ownership and the touch up paint was labeled "Urban Khaki"

Definitely a fan of the Lunar Rock color but I also love my cement color. It was either the white or cement color for me when I bought my taco. Add Lunar Rock to the list now.

Interestingly, almost all of the ladies I know, when they see my LR for the first time say " I thought you said your new truck was green. That's gray."
