New Tacoma owner and new to Tacoma World. I recently installed the Volant Cold air intake on my 2007 Tacoma with the v6 and it’s now throwing the code p0101 after about 20 miles or so of driving. If check for vacuum leaks. Bought a new MAF sensor. Disconnected battery (not even sure if that resets ECU) and this code still keeps coming back to haunt me. Is there any other things I have missed to find the root of the issue?

The Volant intake has a different diameter intake tube in the area right where the MAF sensor is located. This change in diameter means the ECU's calibration for the MAF sensor is no longer accurate and the ECU is having to compensate for the airflow error by trimming the fuel (fuel trims). The amount of correction it needs to bring your mixture ratio's back in line are outside the acceptable performance range of the ECU and thus it's tripping that code indicating you have an issue with the MAF.

That intake needs a custom tune to account for the different MAF housing diameter.
