Which one to get guys? The CBI I believe has an outrageous 3 month lead time so I've been leaning towards CaliRaised. Any thoughts?

Also wondering if anyone knew of any other compatible light bars with the CaliRaised (aside from CaliRaised's own light bar)?

Hi! Right now our bumpers are 15% OFF, IN STOCK, AND, FREE SHIPPING. But, yes you are correct many of our competitors have SUPER long lead times which is unacceptable. We want to ensure if you spend your hard-earned money you will get a product right away instead of playing the waiting game. As for our bumpers, they can accept any brand's 30"-32" LED Bars. Please let me know if you have any other questions. We would love to earn your business.

Whatever lead time CBI quotes you, I would triple it. Bunch of snakes, I would never order from them after seeing how they screwed people during the pandemic, and continue to do so with poor quality control. Just look up the failing powdercoat thread on brand new CBI products. There was also a guy on here who battled with them for MONTHS after receiving a faulty set of rear bumper swing gates that were the incorrect size.

They take responsibility for nothing and blame everyone else along the production line (powdercoaters, shippers, whoever).

Yeah, I've been noticing a lot of companies dropping the ball...probably going to go with the CaliRaised Stealth.

I really wanted an amber light bar, so that limited my options a bit. I was looking at the Baja designs OnX6 30 inch amber but it seems quite narrow compared to the cutout in the bumper. Maybe CaliRaisedLed can shed some light on how it fits? Would greatly appreciate it.

Ya that one will fit! Just our cut out is a for a dual row light but the ONX6 is just smaller, but fits no issues at all.

Awesome, thanks. Would you happen to know if it fits width wise or would there be like extra gap space at the top and bottom?

Also does the mounting require special brackets or does everything that's required basically come with the bumper and light bar?

It's a matter of preference really, if your going for safety too I'd think about real steel not aluminum crap. Cbi may have their issues on waiting time , but their products hold up. Cali Raised is great too, and offer a pretty good array of products. I went with the Cbi Dakar Hybrid bumper because its steel, has many light options, and winch boltup, and looks good on the 3rd gen Taco. Whatever you choose, make sure it's something you like, and not bias people's suggestions ...

Here is a picture for referecne. Its a diode dyanamics bar, but the width is almost the same as the baja so you can get an idea.

The bumper comes with L bars ready for any light bar.

Hi there - I'm not sure how often you are on here, but I was wondering if the CaliRaised Stealth bumper's bull bar interferes with the TSS with a (2023) TRD Pro heritage grill? If they do interfere with the TSS, I suppose there is no "bull bar delete" option?

And also confirming I would need to trip 2 inches off my TRD front skid plate?

    Thanks!

Hey! No it doesn't affect it at all. You have the option of choosing between bull bar or no bull bar. Yes you need to remove 2 inches off you TRD front skid plate. We have them in stock:thumbsup:let us know if you need anything else!

Props to OP and CaliRaised (hilarious noticing your address is in TX lol). Just purchased the Stealth Bumper (no bull, combo LED, Warn VR Evo) as a result of this blog. Was absolutely considering the CBI, but hated the idea of the bull bar, the horror stories certainly influenced my decision too. Tacoma Beast doesn't have a noticeable option to remove the bull, so I went straight through CR. Looking forward to helping myself get unstuck (or the occasional Jeep I discover along the way :p). Already purchased rock sliders through you guys and love them!

    Skål!

Yeah, I have their 0 degree rock sliders too - Just installed them a few weeks ago so have not tested them off road yet (maybe in 2 weeks) - but they sure look awesome :)

I didn't realize the CR Stealth had a no-bull-bar option, although I may just get it, if it truly does not interfere with the TSS and the Toyota Heritage grill...

Yes we have a no bull bar option for our Stealth Bumper! It does not interfere with that. Please let us know if you need anything:thumbsup:

Got everything installed! Had purchased a TRD Skid, so I followed the 2” cut recommendation (plan to paint black in near future). The install was pretty straight forward, just haven’t hooked the light bar up yet (plan to install a SPOD). I love the look, functionality, and feel more confident on the trails when I, inevitably, get caught in a jam. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️IMG_7606.jpg IMG_7609.jpg

Stupid question: how difficult was it to trim 2" off the TRD skid plate?

Not dumb at all! It took me about 20 minutes using a makita grinder with a dewalt thin cutoff wheel, and I recommend having at least two jic. Here’s one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006ERQD2M

If you don’t have a grinder I recommend the Makita here:
