CB specifics

Awesome! Thanks for the speedy response, I should be installing allike of my stuff this weekend, I'll post pictures once it's all done.

 

I think the problem is going to be that there are raised lines dancing between the bolt holes that will have to be accounted for. At a glance, it may be tough to clear the ridges and still make the tailgate shut.

 

yes there aresome more tricky body lines to work around, but im sure something can be figured out!

 

After getting a look at a VOODOO bed rack mounting bracket I realized it had what I wanted for a CB antenna mount. The bracket was $45 each

I was looking to get a custom mount made but found this to work better.

and here are the pics.





For the antena mount I used this

$20 FIRESTIK Side Mount with 4KA Stud, K24

and 2grade 8 bolts. For the top bolt I found a washer that fit inside the hole of the bracket to center the bolt.

I got them from Home depot, not sure what their called self locking screws?? no nuts
