Im wanting to add an aftermarket exhaust on my 95 Tacoma 4wd 5vz and am wondering if anyone know where I can find just the catback tubing without the muffler. I dont want to have to custom fabricate an exhaust if I dont have to. I want to put a Black Widow race venom muffler on which is significantly shorter than the factory muffler. Would be fine with welding a little extra tubing to the pipes. Would also like to see exhausts that they have done themselves so if I had to make my own I could kinda see what others have done.

Please don't be "that guy". Get your Black Widow, dump the exhaust before the axle and have it pointing towards that ground. It'll be plenty loud and less annoying.

That would be cool, if you dont mind me asking what did you do for the rest of the exhaust? Thought about stepping up to a 2 1/2" exhaust size but ive read that people lose low end at that size and if you go above that it is really sluggish on acceleration. It would be great to see a video of it, thanks.

Im not sure if its the same for a 95, but for my 00 my exhaust is 2.25 and it steps up to 2.5 for the end of the tailpipe above the axle. I just had an exhaust shop weld it on and use adapters for the diameter difference.

Didnt think about that, would be easy for the Race Venom because the smallest out size is 2.5.

Whatever you do make sure the exhaust gas isn't going places that will heat up stuff. All that old plastic, wiring etc. Pointing it to the ground will be fine. In my opinion without a muffler it will sound like total shit but you do you. The drone on it will kind of get annoying inside the cab.

When I said no muffler, I meant I wanted a exhaust kit just without the muffler because I want to put my own muffler on. Definitely agree with you on the plastics, changed the valve covers on my pickup and the plastic cover with all the wiring under the bottom intake plenum just shattered when I tried to move it. Now pieced back together and held by high temp electrical tape.

Sweet man, sounds good. If possible could you upload a picture or video of your exhaust setup? Wanting to order the muffler either tonight or tomorrow. Not sure if I should get the one with the center in center out pipe, or the offset one. Just whenever you get the chance dont wanna rush ya.

mine broke apart as well. Shattered as soon as I touched it. Found some heat rated silicon stretchy wrap. Shits the bomb. Holding out quite well. Got it at o’reilleys.

I put a flowmaster 40 on my 3.4. Sounds pretty good! Ran it for a second without it to go get the muffler welded on so just cat and pipe and man - it was a terrible sounding smelly ride! Haha
