I still have not found a solution to these issues.

    1. Person on the other end of phone calls can barely hear me. When I unplug and use bluetooth, they can hear me fine.

    2. Music does not always play. The track is playing, but there is no sound. It seems to happen when I turn off the truck and then back on. Only solution is to unplug the replug the charging cord.

Took it to the dealer and they updated to the latest firmware but it didn't help. Any other solutions?

    Oh look, another mod....

This may help, or it might not (I hate Apple products):

Edit: Test your Radio/AppleCarplay/Android Auto with a different iPhone (or Android) . I bet you dollars to donuts that it's the iPhone causing the issue, not the head unit.

Also, try your iPhone in another vehicle. See if you can replicate the problem.

Thanks, I changed the Call Audio Routing in my phone from Automatic to Bluetooth. Will see if this works.

There are settings you can change in I think the HU. I believe you go into settings and than phone or something like that and you can change call volume speaker volume and the like.

Just found this in another thread and sure enough it worked for me. I did see someone say it only worked for them for a few days before the buzzing came back but the original poster said his never came back after making this change to the settings on his phone. I just made this change a few minutes ago on my end so I guess time will tell. Here's what he said..."YOU GUYS, i have found a solution! I’ve been having this issue since I bought the truck 1 year ago and I work in outside sales making calls all day from my truck and it’s been an effing nightmare calling clients. If you have an iPhone, WHILE ON A CALL, swipe down from the top right corner of your screen, hit the button that says something like mic option: standard mic. (Very top right button), change to isolate voice. This should solve you problem."

I don’t see that? Maybe because I’m using wireless CarPlay adapter?
