I was looking at the Carhartt seat covers. I noticed there are two options. The precision fit and the seatsaver seat covers. I was wondering what everyone has and their opinion of them. I definitely need them for the front seats. Water stains annoy me and I always seem to spill it. Lol

I just installed the precision fit seat covers last week! They fit like a tight glove and are great heavy duty quality. They are expensive though and I had to wait about 2 months for them to make and ship them. I highly recommend them if you wanna protect your seats!

Yes, I have an access cab, and no one ever sits back there besides some groceries or other misc things. Decided to just get the front ones due to these reasons.

I was contemplating grey, but thought it was too bland. Went with my gut and got the other color. Although grey would match the Tacoma's cement/black interior more, I decided to go with the classic carhartt brown color and couldn't be happier!

Also I would like to say another great feature is they have this foam padding, it makes the seats a tiny but more comfortable. They were a pain to get on nice and snug but using alot of elbow grease got the job done.

@troutarebeautiful awesome! Had been looking at them and was curious as well. They look great and with three dogs (two of which insist on getting in the front seats as soon as we exit) some sturdy protection is needed!

I have a "hammock" in the back row for the boys but leaning toward biting the bullet and getting covers for the back row and doing away with the hammock. Then again, it's easy to take out and wash. Hmmm

I have the Carhartt Seatsaver Covers...in both front and back, my son has them in the front of his 2002 Tacoma (he has an acess Cab - his are the tan ones pictured ). Our horse farm is on a river and my son does Blacksmithing as a side job (heads off to college in July). As you can imagine with horses, kayaking, in and out of river, blacksmith coal/coke, etc our seats get a lot of grime. We both have our german Shepherd in the trucks a lot too!

Since we get them so dirty, we take them off frequently to wash...I wasn't sure how the foam padding would hold up with SO many washings, so I got the seat saver (no foam) version. . I really like them!!

I have the seatsavers - the ones without the foam...I was afraid the foam would not...but the ones we have are great

Those still look like they have a nice tight fit.

My apologies, did not realize that both models do not have the foam.

No offense, but I wouldn't call that glove tight looking at your pictures. They looks kind of wrinkled and kind of sloppy. I would expect better at the price they are selling them for.

I LOVE the tan color...I got the tan for my son (his truck is gold) and the grey for mine (Calv Blue)...i HATE the grey/black interior of my truck and if I had it to do over I would have bought the tan for mine too.

Those look GREAT...I've had the seatsaver carhartt ones for a year or so (I think)...I really debated on which ones to get...so I ended up buying the seatsaver carhartt ones - a set of front and back for me and a set of fronts for my son (2002 tacoma Acess Cab).

We have to wash ours so often (every couple of weeks) and I was afraid the foam might not hold up. We have been very impressed.

I just feel that when you drip a little bit of water on the seat. It shouldn't look like a grease stain from a greasy burger. Which I would never eat in the truck. Lol.
If it repels it enough not to stain I'm perfectly fine with it. Or if it drys and doesn't leave a ring/mark.

i have the grey ones and the back ones fit better than the fronts, the fronts constantly pull out but i am used to it and its not a big deal..

How long did you have to wait for yours? Hopefully the lead time is shorter than that of the "precision" seat covers.
