Hey figured I would post my first question. I just bought my Tacoma (Named Clifford), the name was given by six year old son. I bought a Nerf bars, cover, and bug shield for the truck and they look great. The one item I have on my immediate need to have list is a cargo net that I can use for carrying groceries and other things. Don't really like the idea of a gallon of milk rolling around in the back of the truck.

What are some of the things that other have used to solve this problem. I have seen a few options but they either seem really cheap products or something that will end me in Divorce court if I spent that kind of money on.

Thanks in Advance for your help!

I have the OEM bed mat in mine and it keeps most stuff from rolling around. Specifically I got milk today and didn't move at all on the drive home.

I use a Cargo Catch in my truck. It holds groceries just fine. I can fit six one gallon jugs in a single compartment. You can create different size compartments if you'd like. I'd take a pic of mine installed but it's too dark. Here's a pic off the web but mine is next to the tailgate since I have a tonneau cover in place.

I have a bed extender, cargo net stretched across the tie downs and a tri fold bed cover. The net is a Toyota net. The bed extender was new from a dealer selling on Ebay, $200 shied with allhardware included.

Thanks for the feedback. I think that I will probably go for the one that Invid mentioned. That is exactly what I am looking for. I found a couple on ebay that won't break the bank.

I went with a bed mat and two cargo bars. Keeps everything in place and each bar was only $10. Can move them wherever I need depending on what I'm doing. Move them closer to the tail gate if i want stuff to not roll to deep in the bed.

I use ratcheting cargo bars and the big rubber twist-ties (gear-ties, I think is the brand) to hook grocery bags and stuff securely. I have one about a foot from my tailgate, and have two Plano boxes behind it fit left-to-right almost perfectly, blocking off the milks' path to escape to the front of the bed.

Limited wheels, extra rope hooks in bed.
I put an extra set of "rope hooks" in the back next to the tailgate.

Where can you get them ratcheting bars?

Those are exactly what I need.

Edit, found some on Amazon for 22 shipped with Prime once back in stock.

Mine is from harbor freight. Can also get them at home depot. And I'm sure many, many other places. I paid $18 for mine. If you look, I'm sure they can be had cheaper.

Wish I had pics, but I've just been using a cheap cargo net. I use two carabiners to clip it to the hooks on the front of the bed, lay it out flat on the bed, lay everything on it against the front of the bed, then bring it up and over and clip it to two cleats at the very front of the rails. Works like a charm for backpacking packs, totes full of climbing gear, etc. Looking to get a bed mat, though, they look quite nice.
