It seems that mots of the posts on here center around mods for offroading or construction. But I imagine there's plenty of folks like me who bought the taco primarily for small business use.

i often find myself needing to load cargo above the bed sides. Does anyone have any leads for systems/products to make the bed sides taller so you can load more loose items in?

I've searched but I'm not seeing much of use in this space, and I don't want the height restrictions of a camper / contractors rack.

I have some ideas on how to make them myself. But a) my comfort material is wood and i'd like something more integrated/finished than wood would look and b) i'm out of commission for a while due to Achilles surgery.

if anyone has pics of their solutions that would help too.

in case you're wondering what I'm talking about, in trucks with stake pockets, you've probably seen landscapers put up plywood walls to haul refuse away. In my case it's most often cardboard boxs

Remember the bed is plastic so the bedwalls do not have the strength other trucks do. So whatever the solution is, I would imagine it needs to be a standalone item, like a 3 sided box built to slide in, that has it's own support strength not dependent on the actual bed walls.

I made some prototypes (out of necessity). Buying 6months of inventory for our business.

These should fold down into the bed and fit perfectly between the wheel wells acting like a bed mat of sorts.

1/2" bolt heads with a lock washer fit we (not perfect in the accessory track.

Cargo straps to pretension the walls. Giant cargo net to secure stuff

Will let you know how it works LA to PHX

Has anybody looked under the rails where stake pockets would be to see if there is any? My sport looks like it has a knockout on the plastic bed rail caps in the stake pocket areas. Or is it just looks?

Looks good op. Should be fine for what your doing.

No stake pockets. :(. Would be much easier/cleaner.
