TruckHouse keeps things light but comfortable with a single-piece carbon-reinforced composite camper module. It’s still fitting out the first prototype and doesn't have a final weight figure to release yet, but it tells us the empty BCT shell weighs in at 500 lb (227 kg).

It's cool, however i would rig out a new TRD Pro and a 4wheel camper setup and save $200k.

For that price you can do the same with a Unimog which is waaaaaay beyond a Taco.

 

Or you know, buy a home and a 4x4 truck with a full tank of gas...

 

I dig it, the problem with EarthRoamer is size...the LTi is nearly 30' long and 12' tall! And price...starting base price is $590K! I think the TruckHouse Taco it's a decent option for a single individual or couple who want to live on the road and have the means to do it. This is a cheaper option than the average home in SoCal! And its probably the same size living space!

I'd still prefer a Ram Power Wagon, Norweld, and FWC. And for $380K it would get the AEV Prospector XL package along with many other upgrades!

 

I want to hate the look of this thing but that interior is actually sweet. Hope it's insulted well...all that aluminum would be cold AF below 40.
