He has good things to say other than this oil leak problem.

Would the Tacoma be the only vehicle with the 2GR-FKS variant 3.5L V6 that would not involve removing the engine to fix the problem? Due to the longitudinal mount in the Tacoma?

From what i gather here, the 3.5 is an oil sprouting hog.

What I gathered from the video is not to bother fixing my timing cover if it ever leaks. Seems like it’s not worth it for what is basically just seepage.

I like to think of it as the self-lubricating chassis system.

If mine leaks and it’s out of warranty then I’ll just let it be also. Read somewhere here dealer did the timing cover leak repair and it leaked again but worse than before. Car care nut explanation on why cleared things up. If dealer do shortcut then it’s doomed to fail again.

He agrees with me, the ocv filters never clog.

This video was better than some of his rants, but youtubers rely on click bait for revenue.

I've re-sealed a timing cover in the vehicle, it was wild, a solid 9/10 for difficulty and danger lol.

I'd rather do a subframe drop than the stupid dual vvti 4.0 or the tacoma 3.5 both suck to do.

    My
lol my truck gets Krown oil sprayed for rustproofing every year. Even if this sucker does leak, I probably wouldn’t be able to notice it even if I tried. if anything it’s contributing to the fight against rust.

Its because he has had to replace more than one engine attributed to the 10K OCI. There are a couple of videos from him walking thru his reasoning along with examples of engines etc.
