I’d like to get some yard ‘n plantin’ Stuff done but with way below freezing temps at night, it’s just not worth it.

 

My grass is going to seed already and I cut it once. I am literally bringing down property values in my neck of the woods. Even people with couches on their lawns are complaining.

My excuse is not the cold rather the damn rain!!!!!!! Wait, now I sound like William except even he had a chance to cut his!!!!

 

I hear you, Rob. Between Cold, High Wind & Rain. It shoulda just stayed Winter. That I could handle. I can't even put a vinyl decal on in this mess.

 

I should do us all a favor. I should plant some trees.

Every year it rains like this I say to myself, and the wife, just think, if we had planted those trees like we wanted we could have the privacy we need, and wouldn't have to set up special watering methods (in my case, an extensive hose system and timers $$$). And every year I don't plant the trees we get an abundance of rain.

As soon as I plant them, there will be this extensive drought and have of North America will turn into a desert!!!!!!

 

Could be worse, Rob. We're likely gonna lose 1/3 of all trees here with this new invasive species of Bug comin' thru. Will try to get as many pics as possible between Now & then. Who the hell brings pet bugs into the country? Just plain fools. I sure hope the same people don't fish.
