Hello everyone. I just purchased a 2019 TRDOR and while I hate not having Android Auto (coming from 2 previous vehicles that supported it) it's working well enough for the most part over bluetooth.

The only issue I'm having is that I can't skip backwards to previous songs (or even restart the current song) no matter if I'm using the steering wheel controls or the seek touch buttons on the head unit itself, however skipping forward works fine. The only way to accomplish this is to do it on my phone. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Would anyone be willing to test it out and let me know?

Mods, if this is the wrong thread I apologize, please move as you see fit.

Mine does that when I'm in certain playlists. Almost like Spotify version of Pandora. I'm on Apple tho so idk.

I use Spotify all the time in my truck and it works perfectly. I know that’s not specifically helpful, but at least you know it can work. Both dash and steering wheel controls. I have an IPhone, so not android.

Interesting. I'll try a different playlist and report back.

I guess it would be Spotify "radio". It's annoying, but I've never had issues w my own playlists

Yes. The “radio” part of the app doesn’t always act like you expect it to. Once, say, an album ends and the app goes to “album radio” you cannot go back into the album.

Yeah it was the same way even on Android Auto, but even when I'm in the radio playlist I can't play previous songs nor can I even restart the current song I'm playing...I can only skip forward. I had no problems doing this in Android Auto.
