I have managed to screw up my bluetooth connection. My phone was disconnected from the Bluetooth setting (it is a phone issue) but when I tried to reconnect the phone I managed to hit vehicle rather than device and now my bluetooth says Toyota Tacoma and I am unable to either delete this setting or add my phone. HELP!

    Thanks

?? Have you tried deleting your owner "profile" on your truck? It'll clear ever user pesonal setting related to your phone, nav etc.

I have not and will try this. I not sure I ever set up my profile unless it occurred when I first linked my phone to the blue tooth program.

Thanks for this suggestion. I will let you know if this works.

Great, poster above with turning the phone off & on too.

It's not a profile like setting up a TW account, more of just pairing your devices. If IIRC it'll cause your truck to forget your stuff. You might also have your phone forget devices it was paired to...kind of clean start.

I am unable to view my profile-I can not get to the driver profile-the system will not let me do this. I am still seeing my phone listed as "toyota tacoma" rather than my phone and the system will not let me change it.

Do I need to go to the dealership to have this taken care of? Thanks for everyone's advice.

Thanks for this video but it did not answer my question. I am unable to get the phone system off the vehicle app which means that my truck is acting like a blue tooth. I can not reset this system. I can not access the driver profile to reset the phone.

My system will not allow me to add my phone (an android). Any other suggestions aside from going to the dealership will be welcome.
