Hi all. I was just playing around and trying out the rear seat configurations. I figured out how to lay the head rests flat to have a better view out of the rear, though for the life of me, I can't figure out how to lock them back in and straighten them upright. See pictures. First one down, second one up (not all the way) and not locked.

Feeling like a fool here. The guide isn't offering up much. Just says to insert posts into receivers. Help!

Guys... I think @Brutus241 might be on to somethin! IDK mine seem fine, although I do wish they were adjustable meaning they could be lowered/raised without unlocking and falling forward like a body stuffed in the fridge. They seem to be backward

    Edit: Very derp spelling

    Guys, check out OP's gender....

    A common mistake on here..

@watersoilair , I believe putting them backwards is a very common thing..... Also, have you tried to put them into the temporary storage position, on the "upturned" bottom seats. ?? That can be fun also.

Thank you. I have to admit that I chuckled when I saw the joke I figured that they didn't check gender. Also figured given the amount of guys on here, I was bound to see a few sexual jokes. Funny thing is that I'm actually into women so it made it all the more funny! (well cause obviously, nobody knew that) Just saying that hey, maybe i wont make the same mistake? So no need to be embarrassed all. Never thought I'd out myself on TW, but hey - it was just too funny. Wife got a good laugh too.

And yes, I did try that and it was from there that I had actually tried to put them back in on the top. The "back side" is curved and after upgrading from my yaris of 10 years, it looked normal as that's the way they're shaped.

    Cheers!
