    Hey folks,
    First time posting on here!

I'm shopping around for a used cap, and I'm seeing a fair few for sale with missing windows.

Pricing for a shop to replace them seems to be around $200 per window, but I'm willing to bet its a fairly DIY possible job. Anyone have any experience doing this, or can point me to any good threads on the subject?

    Thanks!

Depends on the window type and size- and there are a lot of variations out there. Buying new windoors for example can be around $400/each.

If you get the right size it's pretty easy, just undo the screws, pull the trim ring out while someone holds the window from the outside so it doesn't fall, then remove the window/frame. Clean up around the opening and install is reverse of removal. There are videos on youtube.

    Alright, thanks for the info!

I've seen some stuff about people cutting the replacement windows from Lexan, I might look into that as well.

I looked into doing this to put windoors in mine and they are just too expensive individually to make it worth it. Your best bet is to find a cheap used shell to steal the windows from.
