Cannot get in entune to register

Can anybody help me out with this cannot get entune to register it keeps referring me back to to Toyota app. I filled out the form and it keeps denying it it says go to Toyota app

 

Soooo you might have a different app since the stereo got updated from my 2016 but here is what I did. Went to toyota.com and made an account and registered the vehicle, downloaded the toyota app and made sure the login info was right, now on the entune app (I had tried before to register it and it was being stupid) while in the truck with the on and connected to bluetooth registered via VIN and used the same account login info from toyota.com and that seemed to work. Your mileage my vary since different versions of entune in our trucks but hope it helps.

Since my 2016 doesn't have carplay, using yelp to search for restaurants nearby isn't terrible. Also haven't found a good phone mount I like yet.

I recently purchased a 2021 and started the entune set up. But on looking into it, I can't for the life of me see the purpose with Carplay / whatever and Bluetooth.
The only thing is Toyota apps, and I don't have any of those or want any (that I know of).

I "reset" my personal info to get rid of the annoying pop-up notice. and all is right with the world.

The bluetooth Android phone rings . when wired through the USB port, Google maps pops right up on the display. All the music devices work. The GPS talks to the head unit via BT. If I'm missing something by not having entune.. I can't magine what it is.

(Unless it is the Toyota Destination Assist. , and I AM SURE I don't want that)

Entune is no longer supported (at least with the 2020+ model years). Toyota has moved to the Toyota app instead. Looks like you already moved to that app, but I'm sure others in the future will stumble upon this thread eventually.
