Can you replace 3rd gen Tacoma mirrors with Rav4?

Hello all I was wondering if anyone know if you could replace the Tacoma mirrors with rav4 mirrors with the blindspot small mirror. Can you just pop off the mirror part or only order that and put it on a Tacoma mirror?

Nice! Going to swap mine, as long as they are heated. Tacoma mirrors are on the small side, been nice if they would have come stock,especially on a truck.Thanks for info!

 

Yep the links I sent are the heated mirrors, also the blind spot is heated as well do you don't have to worry about that fogging up as well!!!!

So is there a connection for the heated mirrors on the Tacoma?

 

If you have the option, yes

 

All you do is pop off the original mirror, take the 2 small wires off the back of the glass. Plug them into the 2 connections on the Rav 4 mirror and pop the glass back on and done. Like a 5-10 minute job!

 

All 3rd gens come factory with heated mirrors even the base models, mine was a SR!

When you say Blind Spot, you are meaning the blind spot mirror itself right?

Just confirming but it looks like these don't support the Blind Spot indicator system, right?

You are right, they don't support the BSM system.

It’s nice to have an OE plug n play actual usable upgrade. Not sure why there weren’t included, but so cheap n easy to do, who cares.

 

One of the best things I added to the truck! Super easy and simple why not have it!

 

I like the sensor that illuminates yellow for you - especially at night. But I still like the old fashioned curved glass mirror that shows you too. Unfortunately, you don't get both.

 

Christmas shopping is going to be so easy for my wife this year, ha!

You can juat buy the small circular mirrors on amqzon, even walmart has them, and stick it on the corner of your mirror.
