Going to be getting a new truck within the next month or two (2nd gen) and am trying to figure the lift out. I know a lot of you guys hate db lifts since you guys wheel but where I live there's no places to do that and we only mud ride occasionally...I'm wanting to get the procomp 6inch lift and put a 2.5inch spacer in the front since the procomp lift puts it all at stock angles and everything...but for the rear in not sure how to lift it more. It come with a 4inch block and 1.50-2.0inch add a leaf...I don't want the rear riding bad and didn't know if a shackle would be good or if you can add 2 add a leafs? I'm pretty sure you can but just making sure. And also would 2 add a leafs make it ride stiff?

Why spacers? Just get new coilovers. Do it right.

Two add a leads would require longer u bolts and you'd probably have to add a long and short leaf (so that it's still tapered) but I wouldn't see why not.

Other than it will ride like frame on axle.

Lol ride like Frame on the axle honestly I don't think 6inch lifted trucks ride bad but yes I plan on getting bilstein 5100 adjustable in the front and stock height coils and take the spacer out and some bilstein shocks in the rear. I've read about people stacking a 2inch block ontop of the 4inch block but that sounds like an accident waiting to happen lol...or would a shackle be a good idea? But not sure how the drivetrain geometry would be then

I have an Icon add a leaf. I'm not a fan. I'd get a block over stacked add a leafs. Id get a block over my add a leaf. I will eventually get a whole new spring pack or just go whole hog and link the rear.
