Does Toyota use techstream to preform a zero point calibration or some other device?

Interesting tidbit, the TC goes off all the time on my 18 Sport going in and out of driveways and U turns, but never did on my 17 PRO. Same exact aftermarket lift and tire setup. Maybe theyret running different TC calibrations?

Yes, its an ABS function, normal only an issue if the steering angle has changed, I've never had to do it unless an error was committed.

Is it possible an ABS line is stretched on the front upper control arms?

Anything is possible. I don't know what to look for, but would pictures be worth a thousand words? Not sure what to take pictures of lol.

If your ABS line was stretched you would get lights. ZPC is needed when the truck is "confused" on it's true zero point, or when it needs to use the vehicle stability control. There is a procedure for zero point from Toyota and there is a procedure for weekend warriors.

It's not the ABS it's stability control.

Did this work for you personally on your 3rd gen? Not trying to call you out, I just tried this method probably a dozen times, different days, with every trick I could think of...I never got it to work.

Awesome, thank you. I'll give the wire short method one more shot. Then I'll try out techstream.

You can use techstream to reset codes and/or do the VSC re-calibrate. All I had to do was clear my codes, and a week later, my VSC and pre collision errors have not come back up. But I did see the re-calibrate VSC option in techstream.

Well that's a nice dealership. I was told $130 to even look at my truck, and as soon as I rolled in "we can do the calibration, but won't on a lifted truck".

I'm sure it just needs to be cleaned, I have a stock grille, and I've had that error pop up 2 or 3 times.
