Can I fit 9” wide rims on 235/75 r 15 tires?

Hey guys, currently running 235/75 r15s on my 05 Tacoma. I want my wheels to stick out a little bit without stretching my tires. Do y’all recommend getting 8.5 or 9 wide rims?
(Ps these are brand new tires and don’t want to buy another set if I can use these. I also don’t like spacers)

 

For a 235 you will be best running a 6-7" wide wheel. Most tire manufactures have a recommended wheel width for their tires so I would check there. What you want is a wheel with negative offset to get it to stick out more.

i run 235/75/15 on a set of 8in wide wheels. on a vehicle but that is about as far as id want to go ever. liked how they looked better on a 6.5in steel wheel
