Just when I thought all of my oil leaks were done... leaking from both camshaft seals in the rear.

how difficult is this? I’ve only got 131k and I’ve never had a vehicle with this issue.

There are videos on changing them on youtube. If you search for valve cover gasket replacement, it is part of that process.

The previous owner of my truck hired a mobile mechanic to do the timing belt about 6k miles ago and part of his process was to remove the valve cover. I saw on the work order that he used new seals for everything but I have a leak on both banks of the engine at the rear.

I guess he didn't do a good job so I ordered all new parts again and will redo it.

It's actually a pretty long process from what I can tell....which is unfortunate.

Not hard but time consuming. Need to replace intake gaskets and cleaning parts takes time. Blue locktite on valve cover bolts helps future leaks but needs to be clean
