    What torque does the cam bearing mount go on after you install new rear caps?

    Ty I read 71 lb.I will check my wrench for lb torque.Is the torque right that seems lowe then how much is to take off.I saw A guy on A video try with A impact wrench till hestripped the bolt.

    Sounds too high for aluminum. in-lb probably - don’t use ft-lb

    Ok ty I just read in the forum someone went 90 in lb.They say factory.sometimes over torque there's and they strip there bolts.now I'm nervous about doing the job.

    Basically it’s just over snug - do you have an in-lb torque wrench? 91 in-lb would be about 7.5 ft - lb

    What job are you doing?

    This is my 4th time replacing valve cover gaskets and it seems I kept peeking again from the back left side.I saw A video of A guy same thing and he showed the plug I ever new about.

    Just finished Tims video was A great help.He shows the book spec at 12ft-lb is that over torque?7.5 feels safer IDK 12 would be to the last tread no?
