    Hey guys...

I purchased my Tacoma about a month ago, the dealer put on brand new 215/70r15 tires for me. When they start to wear out, I was thinking of replacing them with 18" 2012 Camry SE wheels, the gunmetal rims you see on V6 models. [IMG]

Do you think these wheels would look good on an SSM regular cab? I would probably increase the tire height slightly to keep some profile to my tires, but I do not need off road capability because the worst my Tacoma ever sees is driving down trails to kayak locations or trips to Pensacola beach.

I think it would look good also but would like to see a photo shop of it first if I were going to do it.

When I replace the steel wheels on my vehicles, I like to stay within the same automotive family when possible. My last car was a Kia Forte and I put rims from a Sportage on it.

You want to put 18x7.5's on a truck? Hope you aren't planning on getting too wide a tire...

Does anybody know for sure if those wheels will bolt on the 2013 Tacoma 2 wheel drive.I think they are the best looking wheels I have seen since I put vintage 911 fuch alloys on my 67 VW beetle. I was thinking of keeping the stock wheels for the winter and renewing my inspection sticker. They may not give me a sticker if the low tire pressure stays on. They should be close to the same height, if not I would put tires on the rims that would be the same height as stock. Any help would be great like what the difference in offset is etc. Thanks Tom

I am assuming you have the 5 lug tacoma? That is the first obvious part. Your profile just says 2 wheel drive but I am assuming you are the 5 lug version. Not sure on the offset of these wheels and your model as it is different from mine.

Second, If you purchase a set of TPMS sensors from ebay (~$40 for OEM take-offs) you can have them installed when you get the new wheels mounted and balanced. Not sure where in Mass you are, but when I do the same thing, I was promised by Wellesley Toyota that they would program them for free for me if I had them mount and balance. That would solve your dilemma on the TPMS light staying lit for inspection.

Someone with better knowledge than me may chime in, but I swear trucks usually have that donkey**** that sticks out of the center hub, that cars usually don't have. I'm not that familiar with the 5-lug models, but if it has that the sedan wheel may not fit over the hub, or may if you leave the center cap off.

Back when I had my SRunner I rolled the Lexus IS rims. They flowed beautifully. I'll throw up a pic when I get to the computer. I had to do mess with it a bit to get the caps over the hubs.

They should fit just fine, i was looking at some stock scion steele wheels for a while before I found my z32tt wheels. The 5 lug shares the bolt pattern and hub with most the fwd toyotas. I have seen rav4 and highlander wheels swapped onto our trucks, and for a street truck they look nice. Just know that some other wheels dont clear the front brakes without a little grinding.

    5x114.3
60.1 mm hub size... and I forget the offest.... -40 or something

I quess the smart play would be to find a wheel and see if it fits. Thanks for the quick replies. Im on my 6th Tacoma 2 wheel drive 5 speed single cab and looking to trade in again. Bummer that they don't make the single cab anymore. $3500 more for the extra cab,but they offer it now with the rear seat delete package -$1440. Red 2004,white 2005,black 2007,gold 2009,white 2011,white 2013. A black or magnetic gray tacoma would look great with those wheels. Thanks again Tom
