The same shit everyone else has.
Kicking around the idea of adding some sort of ceiling vent to my Leer topper.

Did some searching around and found a little info.

Most of the diy stuff I’ve seen is kinda janky or too bulky. RV roof vents seem to be a popular option, but are super bulky and too large for my liking. I’m looking for something smaller that’ll sit lower than the load bars on the shell.

I sleep in this shell year round and it gets toasty in the summer

I kicked around that idea. I already have a fan that I use in the summer to just move air around.

I’m looking to add more of an exhaust fan to draw all the hot air out from the ceiling.

If you do look into RV vents, look at the Maxxair Maxxfan Deluxe. More expensive, but the fan can be removed with the base remaining in place and sealed to the cap and it has a built in vent cover, rather than just the flat lid. So, you can have it open when sleeping in the back in the rain and not get wet. They are also very quiet.
I put two on my trailer.
