Hey. I drive a 2016 Tacoma with a leveling kit. After installing the leveling kit, I noticed my alignment was not right (which is normal), so I took it to get aligned. After the alignment and the mechanics telling me the alignment was back to factory specs, the camber was still not right. Any tips? Would upper control arms fix that?
    Thanks

It would help to see your alignment printout.

There's a big range of factory alignment specs so being within spec doesn't mean much and if the alignment tech didn't explain why you might want to be at one end or the other then you probably need a new alignment tech. You can be in spec and still have excessive tire wear and pulling one way or the other. As the previous post suggested, post a clear copy of the alignment before/after printout. That'll tell us all a lot.

You're kidding me, right? This was a professional that did this. The ONLY thing he did was re-set the toe, which was definitely out. He owes you a real alignment but I would not let him do it.

What I'd shoot for is to have the camber, which is how far the tops of the front wheels lean in or out to be identical and very slightly negative - something like a reading of minus .2 to minus .3. Slightly negative cambers on the front will help your truck drive better, handle better and actually wear better too.

There are two schools of thought on the caster and in general the numbers should either be equal, or, if you drive on a lot crowned roads, you might want the caster on the driver's side to be two or three tenths of a degree less than the passenger side to counteract the pull you get from driving on a tilted or crowned roadway. The rule there is that the vehicle pulls toward the lower number. And you should probably be trying get actual numbers in the 2.5-3.5 degrees positive range. The exact number isn't as important as it generally being in the ballpark and that you have the differentiation between sides if you want to compensate for crowned roads. The toe numbers look good at this point.

Unless you have siezed camber bolts on the front and he didn't tell you. They half assed that alignment. Seems like they did a "set the toe and let it go" alignment. They should go back and alignment it correctly.

So I should go back to the alignment shop and make sure they go over it again? Are UCA’s required?

If you want to relax while driving it & it's not driving you.......yes your going to need UCA's after awhile your going to notice a vibration that comes & goes at certain speeds that's going to be your left front axel bearing starting to let you know your differential housing is starting to get eaten by the factory roller bearing

So before that happens change the roller for a bushing problem solved

With that much lift, you'll need new control arms. Also, don't be surprised if your front needle bearing decides to take a hike in the near future.

By 3" block I'm guessing you mean a 1.5" spacer for the front? That's going to be hell on your shocks and ride quality.

If you end up installing the ecgs bushing,
