Thinking of pulling the trigger on an Oedro Low Profile hard tonneau cover for my new Taco. Love the way it looks, and it's half the price of a BakFlip. Problem is, I can't find a single owner or review, so I'm thinking it might be pretty new to the market. For those of you that have Oedro products, what's your perception of the quality? Are they holding up well? Fairly water resistant?

I actually like the finished end of this cover as compared to the BakFlip, but don't want to make a $600 mistake.

there is your answer, they are likely new to market (early adapters are the guinea pig).
This is the third thread you started on this topper in the past few days, I think you will have to make the call; do you want to gamble with the new guy?

I wouldn't, I'd rather pay more from the pioneers, but it's your cash/call.

Thanks....Since there's no users/reviews for this particular cover, I was hoping buyers of their other tonneau's might be able to give me a gauge as to the quality of the companies products in general. Hoping to avoid going into this completely blind.

    Risk versus reward.
If your local bed topper outfitters won’t stock, that tells me all I need to know. My local guys stock parts, will order parts, and don’t charge much over internet pricing on name brand units.
Try to order a small innocent looking part from them. Can you get a parts diagram, part numbers, hell, can you even get a to person answer?

I know this isn't a huge comparison but I've bought oedro floor mats before and they were great

The options in my area are strictly limited unfortunately, with very limited brand selection. Leer and BAK pretty much, unless you want a topper or fiberglass cover.

I’ve been eying the same one. It’s new to the market as of march of this year. There’s only one review but no photos. Just been waiting for some real life photos for a month haha. I like the price and quad fold. I may get it and return it if I don’t like it since it’s from Amazon should be easy if it’s no good. Let me know if you already picked it up would love to see it.

it goes on sale off and on for 580. Also on eBay for 540

Actually just saw some more reviews of it on ford f150 with pictures that may help. Looks decent.

Funny, I was just going to post the exact same link. Unfortunately, installed it does not look as nice as it does as in Oedro's pictures. Looks like the frame is plastic, and the weather-stripping is not as sleek looking. The stock photo led me to believe the frame might be powder-coated aluminum. I've taken it off the list based on those pictures.

Haha, I’m still leaning Lomax it’s been my top pick but I also don’t live in a large city and love having an open bed. What else is on your list?

Lomax made its way to the top for me. I'm going to order one next week I think. I'm not 100% thrilled with the bare aluminum edge, but I'm sure it'll grow on me. Looked at the Peragon, but I have stuff in my bed all the time, and emptying the bed to retract it just won't work for me.

Man just came across the renegade. https://renegadecovers.com/product/renegade-tonneau-cover/?v=7516fd43adaa
That’s my dream cover right there.
Considering the diamondback cause there’s a used one near me but not having 3 quarter access may piss me off haha.

The paragon is cool engineering but the folding gets in the way and the strap.

Buddy of mine has a Diamondback on his F250. Too industrial looking for my taste, and I'm not thrilled with the way they open. There's one in my neck of the woods for sale for $1K. I considered it for a moment, but decided against it.

Yeah offer is for 800. But even then I’m second guessing cause while I don’t need full bed often it’s going to really piss me off when I do messing around with panels. Lol. Now I don’t know what I want. Lomax stance I don’t want to stick the mounts to the body of the cab to get access. Which really only leaves Bakflips but I don’t care for the rubber seals exposed and quality for that price. Would do soft top even but loath the Velcro adjusting. Guess I’m rocking open bed haha.
