I am considering buying ditch lights and a 40’ light bar from cali raised, the previous owner of my tacoma had bought some from them 3-4 years ago and they are still working just fine. i am just wanting to make sure before i go buying more products from them if y’all have or heard about any negatives from caliraised or specifically from their ditch light for light bars
    appreciate it

I like mine. They work well for what I need and I’ve never had any issues. This is their ditch lights and 42” light bar. I have already sold the ditch lights and replaced with rigid and I’ll likely sell the lightbar too for the diode dynamics because I want more output now. These are great lights tho, no issues and they’re affordable. 0FE406E5-E5C1-40CB-9935-8FFBF5638A8A.jpg

    Welcome!

I'm running the behind grille 30'' light bar and have the side shooter pods. Going on three years of having them, no issues.

those look great, your buying the Rigid for better output as in brighter? and in that case are the Cali ones ok when it comes to brightness?

Cali output and build quality matches their price point. There are better and worse.

Customer service is meh, but again.. kind of a throw away LED option with a better warranty than no name bars off Amazon but not brighter, nicer build features than the cheapest of Chinese bars, but obviously not high end.

    Yes, price reflects that.

If you don’t need top tier lighting, they’re perfectly fine.

They are just rebranded Chinese lights. You'll get similar performance from auxbeam, etc. But my understanding is they have a better qc than others, so they probably won't leak.

Like @T4RFTMFW said, they are priced adequately for what you get.

fair enough, i honestly don’t need top tier lights but i don’t want lights that will leak and ruin over a month to a year time frame

Some of their products have been reviewed here and a search will lead you to those results.

One that sticks out is the tri-color fogs that were showing a lot of artifact light, which translates to glare to other drivers and we never heard from the vendor why that is. Well, its simple, you get what you pay for. Their products are better than the cheapest option? Hard to say, some people love it.

Got a hell of a deal on them I couldn’t pass up. The caliraised side shooters were brighter than these 4 led rigid pods I currently have on.

How did you cover your waterproof plug-in from the light to the wiring assembly for your roof rack lightbar?

Mine doesn't make it under the hood and sits at the corner of my windshield (not impressed with that)...did you find a way to conceal that?

I have it to where the wire on the lightbar is on the passenger side, then I ran the wire across the back of the cross bar and down the driver side of the windshield in the crack. The plug is almost in the middle of the roof, wire isn’t seen at all. I can take pics for you later if you want.

    @Matmo215 I wouldn't mind a photo though...if it isn't too much trouble.

Leveled with Bilstein 5100 shocks, Kumho AT52 265/75 tires, Redline hood struts, R4T tailgate lock, Matt Gecko LED strips in bed and under hood, WeatherTech hood guard, OEM bed mat, Husky floor mats, Carhart seat covers, Grille replacement with Toyota letters, Sony AX6000 replacement head unit, OTT lite/mild tune, and an occasional splash of fuel additive.
I just installed the Caliraised LED light bar concealed behind lower grill. Their video was easy to follow. It was a challenge to squeeze my hand in there to put the side tightening screws on (got from under bracket), but I kept trying and got it done (a few beers later). Since the wind deflectors could not be put back on because of the light brackets I cut the deflectors in half (cut below mounting hole) and installed the upper half on each side using the side bracket mounting bolts. I also installed the factory-type light switch that I ordered and ran the wires through the gasket in the truck firewall to open switch blank on left of steering wheel. When I first hooked everything up the lights were very dim and seemed intermittent. I troubleshot the lights, and the relay, and found that one of the crimp connectors I used on the back of the OEM switch was not right. Once replaced, all good. Lights great and very bright. I also installed a set of their amber pods/fog lights, and I like the outcome. Honestly, I didn’t really shop around much. I saw a Tacoma in a parking lot downtown, liked the lights, read a few reviews, and placed an order. Hopefully if I have a problem it will be under their warranty. I’ll let you know in a few years whether I made a good investment (haha).

I have their fog light and ditch light kits, I got the brackets from them, the pods from another member and no issues with leaks/output/or installation
