Cabin Air flow up or down?

I got a

$19 Bosch 6033c HEPA Cabin Air Filter - Compatible with Select Dodge Dart; Pontiac Vibe; Toyota Tacoma

Bosch 6033c replacement and forgot when I pulled the other one out of it said up or down (OEM). The blower is below so does this replacement supposed to point up?

I had a friend who was learning to speak English and asked me why we say “we are going to hang a picture up on the wall”. He wanted to know because the picture frame is actually hanging downward on the nail.

Sometimes Arrows and language can be confusing.

 

Just bought the same one a week ago and pointed the arrow down

 

Always downdraft so the junk caught by the filter stays on the filter.

 

OEM Toyota filter usually has an arrow that says "this side up". Aftermarket filters usually have an arrow for airflow direction, which would point downward. 04:02 in this video:

To put this thread in perspective, you won’t ruin your truck putting the cabin filter in the wrong way. Thank goodness the engine air filter can only go in one way.
