OME 885's and billies all around, allpro apex front bumper, Nfab tire carrier, black magic rallye 1000 driving lights, custom back to the future light rack, KC LED Daylighters, PIAA 510 fogs, bed lights, satoshi, 285/70/17 Duratracs
So I wrecked my truck back in august, and when the body shop finished the repairs and realigned the truck, my 285/70/17s are now rubbing on the drivers side (im thinking they pushed the alignment as far as they could, causing the tires to rub).

Long story short, I'm looking into Duratracs and know those are going to rub even more with their aggressive sidewall, so I'm going to need to do the CMC. I have no means to do it at home, wondering if anyone knows a good place to get it done/if anyone wants to help me bang it out one afternoon.

    Thanks!

Just did mine with an angle grinder and was quick.......didn't plate it back up though, which should prob be done eventually.

You could have them add more caster which will help too. Most shops try to get toe and camber 0 and keep caster low because of road crown. I shoot for 3 degrees or more to keep my tire off the firewall and CM.

What happens if caster is set to 6-7 degrees? I have a 3" OME suspension set up with 285/70R17's, didn't change out my UCA's initially but just recently did. I got the Camburg Uniball UCA's installed but now I have rubbing issues; when making a U-turn, parallel parking is when I notice it the most. I didn't have this issue prior to changing from stock UCA's. Though driving and handling feel a lot better now I'm dealing with rubbing more than I could ignore. I'm returning it back to the shop on Monday and hopefully it's just a caster issue that the alignment shop can figure out.

Not sure 6-7* is possible with these trucks? Stock arms will give you 1-2 easily and that goes down as the truck gets lifted......UCA's have 2* built into it so that'll get you back to stock specs or a little higher. Even at 3* caster and 285's I had to trim lots of plastic (fender corners and wheel liners) and did the pinch weld and CMC since I off-road a lot.
