C4 Fab bumper support brackets.

I was wondering if anyone has used C4's front bumper support brackets on bumpers other than theirs?
I have a Demello bumper on order and I was wondering if they would fit.

 

I don't know about the Demello, but I used them on my SSO slimline. Basically I trimmed down the front facing area a little and notched out the holes the mounting bolts run through. To strengthen it up I made a plate/washer that fits over the mounting bolts and welded it onto the C4 bracket. If I had to do it again, I'd contact C4 and see if they'd not drill the holes for the bumper mounting studs and take some width off that front face. Then I could drill the holes myself. But who knows if they'd even do it.

 

I'm not sure about the C4 brackets, but I know a lot of people have used the BAMF support brackets on non-BAMF bumpers.

Same here. I'm using it on my SSO Slimline and had to modify it a little to get it to fit right.

You don’t need them. Demello’s bumpers have come with the frame support brackets for some time now.

 

Just installed my SSO slimline with the C4 brackets... no modifications at all needed
