I HATE fusion rifles. I suck with them. Just did the 28 PoE and the chest didn't drop what I needed so you must have to do the 32 /34 to get it to drop?

I barely ever use fusion rifles with how they are right now compared to shotguns & snipers. They're in no-man's land between those two.

But I have the bounty for Pocket Infinity which I want just for my collection, and to get that I need to get 200 (i think) kills in Nightfalls using fusion rifles. <-- for this objective alone I want the new exotic fusion rifle. Since it handles like a sniper rifle I can rack up those bounty kills from distance and get that out of the way.

 

No... One buddy got one on the first run through then me and another buddy got one at the same time on the second run. Didn't get anything good on the third but that didn't matter by then I just need one more.

 

that sniper fusion rifle is the shit too though. So much fucking want, it's perfect for my playstyle

Also finished the Elder Cipher and got the Queens Cipher but can't turn it in??? Variks shows that he has it for me but nothing shows up?

 

Got one more Etheric Light to use. Just leveled out my VoC's and only need to level out my last Black Hammer or Efrideets Spear. Decisions decisions.....

 

I think that quest has a 72 hour delay timer built into it. Keep checking back with him.

Oh... Cool that makes me feel better then. I read on the Bungie forums that they were having trouble with that bounty so I just attributed it to that. Think I might end up taking the fusion rifle after looking at it.

You have the "Elder Cipher" but have you brought him the "Queen's Cipher" yet? Once the bounty starts, like you have it, you must loot the big chests at the end of POEs to get the Queen's Cipher, which you then exchange with Variks for him repairing the Elder Cipher. Once you give him the Queen's Cipher is when the delay kicks in. It will take him 24, 48, or 72 hours (appears to be random) to repair the Cipher, after-which you'll get your exotic.

 

I already turned in the Elder Cipher and ran it again last night and got the drop out of the PoE chest. It shows a ! above his head but I can't do anything with it. The Cipher changed when I got it last night from what it was in the bounty?

 

I haven't done this myself yet (got bounty but my bounties were full so I have to run 34/35 again and I *think* its guaranteed for me now) so I can't say for sure. But from what I've read about the bounty - you should be past the buggy part of it already, and if you've already turned in the POE loot part I would think you're in the waiting part.

I'll try to find a write-up that includes screenshots to verify which part you're stuck in - but hopefully he'll have repaired it for you by the weekend.

 

Yeah I hope so. It's showing "The Elder Cipher" but says to return the Queens Cipher which is what dropped last night (I hope). I suppose we'll see. No big deal anyway since ESO came out and I'll be spending most of my time there for the foreseeable future.

 

Hey, anyone on ps4?? I desperately need help on lvl 34 PoE .... Level 33 hunter with gally and black hammer here

 

Yeah there are a lot of us on here with a PS4 but by the looks of it (myself included) are sick of Destiny. The only thing that gets me interested in the game is Iron Banner and hell.. I couldn't even get interested in it last week and only hit level 2 with one character. I usually take all three through to level 5. I'm sick of it personally. VoG is the only good raid in the game (I've run it 76 times now ), PoE sucks balls, and a bullshit expansion (HoW's) is absolutely worthless. Now we have to shell out more money to get another raid that is probably broken with some new class skills? I've supported Bungie all the way but fuckit... I give up on this game. I've got every single weapon / armor piece in the game (that matters) maxed out and still have Etheric Light sitting in my vault. Hell, I can almost guarantee I'm one of the few people in Destiny that has a "No Land Beyond" completely maxed out because I had nothing else to do. Treasure keys are worthless because you get the same shit over and over. Still have a Queens Chiper bounty that I can't turn in after beating level 35 PoE because it's bugged. They threw hundreds of millions of dollars at this game and "promised" us way more than they delivered. Since you could in a way consider this a semi-mmo they need to release content a hell of a lot faster or.... release "good" content that isn't fucking broken or so short that you can burn through it in a couple weeks. When you can still cheese Crota and burn through it in less than 25 mins (that's being generous) that's stupid. Can't even fix a raid that has been out since Nov.

I can whole heartedly understand being sick of it lol. Im not a big fan of the new dlc myself lol, but I really need upgrade materials lol... If I can be a level 34 id be very content lol

I got on tonight for the first time since March and I have no idea what is going on now lol feels new to me but I'm sure I'll be bored before too long again. But for now I'm excited and confused

 

I was dumb enough to buy it on the PS store, and I bought the $89 version. Or however much it was. Every single $ was one too many.
Haven't played it since last year.
