Been playing Titan since D1. I liked Fist of Havoc, and ran Bubble a lot with the group I played with. It just fits me better than the Hunter or Warlock.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
Throughout D1 and the D2 I played, I had all 3 characters, but mained a hunter.

That's all that matters. In D1 I main'd two Warlocks and one Titan. I fucking HATED the Hunter jump. But when Trials was introduced during House of Wolves I finally got tired of getting my ass handed to me by a team of Hunters. I scrapped one my my Warlocks that I had thousands of hours invested in and started a hunter. Two weeks later I went flawless for the first time. Ended up going Flawless 18 times in D1 until I got all the weapons and armor that I wanted. Trials of the Nine sucked complete ass in D2. I only went flawless 8 times in Trials of the Nine because there was no reason to go any further since, at the time, everything was a static roll. The part that pissed me off the most was if I went flawless, the clan members had access to a Trials weapon and they didn't have to even step foot into Trials to get it. That was complete bullshit. I will say this... if you happen to have the Darkest Before Pulse Rifle out of Trials of the Nine, it is still a beast with slideshot. And it's a 540 rpm pulse rifle so it is a rapid fire frame which will burn people down quickly.

Absolutely hyped. Already have our team formed. Vance coming back? Nope. It will be St.14. Vance was cool in D1. But Curse of Osiris came out and then it was almost “just suck off Osiris Vance since you love him so much  )”.

My daughter is going to start playing again. I let her play on my account last night and she did surprisingly well after not playing for 2 years. So I’ll try to carry her to the Lighthouse. That should be fun.

We used to do some trials carries in D1 and I’ll run account recoveries if someone wants to go to the Lighthouse or needs a specific Pinnacle weapon if they don’t want to try or can’t get to the Lighthouse or get a specific Pinnacle weapon (for a price). I won’t do that shit for free.

I don't mind carries as much as I mind account recoveries. As long as someone has map knowledge and has the ability to actively communicate locations it makes it pretty easy. Those that don't have the ability to communicate it makes it a little harder. If that is the case we usually just tell them to stick with the team, when to collapse on the opposing team, and when to use supers. As long as they are willing to listen it usually goes pretty well.

Account recoveries are a bit different. Depending on what you want greatly depends on the weapons you have in your inventory. Going for a specific quest for a Pinnacle weapon requires a certain number of specific types of kills. If that person doesn't have a good selection of weapons to choose from it makes it take much longer. But it's not impossible. You just have to work with what they have. I don't mind doing either but if I do it, I do it for a price. Time invested is money. It is a set price for whatever weapon that is chosen. So if it takes me a few hours to get it I make more per hour. If it takes me a few days to get it because of a limited arsenal to choose from for a specific quest step? I make less money per hour. But you will get your weapon.

*EDIT* If I do an account recovery I highly recommend to the person that I am running on their account to create a new password for that account. Once the recovery is over change your password back to whatever you want so I have no ability to access their account. I will never mess with anything on their account. I'm only there to get what they are paying for and then leave.

Oh man... My Spare Rations is my baby. I love it more than the Not Forgotten. But it is an absolute god roll. You might not like the changes that are coming to The Last Word next season. They have pretty much nerfed it into the ground. I loved the Last Word but it was OP I'll have to admit. 4 tap anywhere on the opposing player. ADS to extend the range? It needed a little tuning but not nerfed into oblivion.

My go to load out for PvP. The only thing that might change is changing out the Play of the Game (with spike grenades) to the Wardcliff Coil depending on the map.

I'll be happy when we can change the affinity of our armor next season so I can really dial mine in.

God Rolled Spare Rations. Ricochet Round for extra (hidden) range, Rapid Hit for max stability, and Multi Killclip to stack as opposed to just Kill Clip which doesn't last as long as Multi Killclip and doesn't stack. And a Range Masterwork

My two Beloved Snipers both with Snapshot / Quickdraw. Only thing that would make either one of these any better was if they also had accurized rounds. Sadly I haven't gotten that perk combo "yet".

    Range Masterworked

    Handling Masterworked

I still use the Not Forgotten along with the Revoker but not as much as I used to. Luna's is a great Hand Cannon also. The only difference is the Luna's is stable as fuck and the Not Forgotten has range out the ass. I like them both.

I love the Revoker Sniper and I'll be quite honest... It took me just about as long to get this as it did the Not Forgotten. I just like my Beloved snipers better because they feel more snappy and since I play aggressive with a sniper, it works better for my playstyle. I didn't have either of the two Beloved snipers when going for the Revoker so I used Alone as a God out of the Leviathan Raid since it came with a static roll of Snapshot sights.

Yup... Same on PS4. Stable as fuck. I can't imagine what it's like on PC with zero recoil?

Im the same way. The only games I ever played on PC was MMO’s for about 10 years. But that didn’t require twitch reactions. Just the ability to know what keys your skills were mapped to and coordination between your team. I would suck on PC with an FPS until I eventually got used to it. I’ll stick with console.

So I broke down and bought a Astro C40 TR Controller a few days ago. I've gone through three Scuff controllers and I'm fucking done with Scuff. The longest I've ever had one last is about 9 months before it finally broke. I've been looking at the Astro controller for quite a while now and finally decided to grab one. I've got an Astro A40 headset that I've been using for two years or so and I couldn't be happier with them. Best gaming headset you can buy IMO.

First impressions: This controller is heavy. I like that though because I don't like the feeling of a light controller. I like it to feel like it is solid and this fucker is solid. The second reason that I bought is was for the swappable thumb-sticks. I've always liked the Xbox offset thumb-sticks over the PS layout. That said... I swapped them to the Xbox layout and I suppose that I've gotten so used to the feeling of the PS layout that I swapped them back. It just feels better (to me). But either way, the controller functions perfectly in either setup. The best part of the controller though comes in the form of the software. You can remap any button to the two buttons on the bottom of the controller. That's not uncommon. I have the jump button mapped to the left bottom button and the crouch (shadestep) mapped to the right bottom button. They are in a perfect placement on the bottom of the controller and is far superior to Scuff controller layout. But the absolute best part is you can adjust the thumb-stick sensitivity independently from each other. So you can have your thumb-stick that you aim with set at one level and the other thumb-stick that you strafe with set at another level. You can also set it to start a turn slow then speed up as you go through the range of motion or set it to start off fast then slow down as the control gets to the edge of the range of motion. Or you can set it anywhere in between on either thumb-stick. Then there are built in trigger stops that you can turn on and off with the flip of a switch underneath each trigger. So I have two profiles set up on the controller. One for Destiny and one for Gran Truismo. In Destiny I have the right trigger stop set for a hair trigger so it fires with a slight press of the trigger. I left the ADS trigger alone as it didn't need to be a hair trigger.

The only issue that I've heard about with these controllers is the thumb-sticks have a tendency to wear out over time and need to be replaced. Thing is, you can buy new thumb-sticks for $20 and just drop them in. I've got $600 worth of Scuff controllers sitting in my drawer that are fucking paperweights. I will never buy another Scuff controller again. The Astro is a large controller compared to a normal PS4 controller (think Xbox size) but not overly large. So far I'm happy with it. I just need to get it dialed in and it should be perfect.

I've got one Kontrol Freek on top of the left stick just because I like the feel of having it there. I don't need it but it's just the way I'm used to playing.

*EDIT* You can also play it wired for no latency or wireless if you like. The way my setup is, I play wired since I sit right in front of a 34" 4k UHD UltraWide Curved Monitor. So FOV is not an issue with me. PC players get to adjust the FOV. I don't need to since the FOV is so wide using the setup I currently play on.

I don't know why Sony never produced their own "Elite" controller? Xbox did it right. To get an "Elite" controller for a PS4 you have to go with an outside company. Scuff is the most widely known but their build quality leaves something to be desired. I'm done buying Scuff controllers. Sony has finally come out with an accessory that allows you to program two of the face buttons on the back of the controller but it's too little to late in the game. I hope that they come out with their own Elite controller when the PS5 comes out. If not I hope this controller will have a firmware update that will allow it to be used with the PS5. There was a firmware update as soon as I plugged it into my Mac so hopefully it will be compatible with the PS5. If not... I'll just buy a different on that is compatible. Until then... I really like this controller. I just have to work on the stick sensitivity to dial it in just like I want. Got a little more tweaking to do with it.
