Anyone know where I can buy a bumper mount 2" receiver hitch? The ball/receiver combo that goes through the stock hole in the rear bumper? My e-bike/1Up rack weights about 100# and was hoping to go this route in lieu of having to buy/mount a hitch that bolts on.

Not that I am aware of. That’s a class one hitch you can’t get a receiver until class 2. You could fab something but I don’t know if a shop would be able to because of the liability.

I saw one on an original bumper that someone just snagged on Denver CL. Looked like a class 2 but could be mistaken. I would not tow anything. Sounds like the full bolt on hitch would be the better, more secure option anyway.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I know you can buy a bolt on 2" bumper receiver hitch because I have used a few over the years.

The down side is they do not bolt to the ball mount hole as that would be in the middle of the receiver tube.

For a hundred pounds your better off using a 1 5/8" receiver hitch just so no one thinks it is a good idea to hook to a trailer.

If you were close I would fix you up.

Something to think about if you do a bumper mount: I replaced my rear bumper years ago. It looked GREAT on the outside, but I swear it was being held together by the chrome. The internal metal was SOOOOO compromised by rust that attaching anything to that bumper hitch hole was bound to leave my truck in a tremendously not-awesome fashion eventually.

Just curious, why would you not just toss the bike(s) in the back of your bed?

i have a trail gear rear bumper and the reciever hitch that came on it was to high so i had a shop weld a 2” reciever, just a square tube to the bottom of the
existing reciever for my bike rack and i dont carry more than 100lbs on it and its solid
