BTF Fabrication +4.5” LT Kit

Haven’t seen a wholeeeee lot of documentation of BTF’s kit for the 2nd/3rd gen Tacomas, a handful of people here are running them, but anyways, I’m gonna be beating the shit out of this kit come summer time. I’m not really sure what I was expecting when this stuff finally arrived, but man it blew my expectations out of the water in terms of how BIG this shit is. Last picture is a comparison of the new boxed heim’d upper control arms from BTF compared to the old SPC’s.

 

How do you like it so far? I read that it moves the wheel forward an inch for clearance, is it true? How is the clearance of the LCA compared to other ones

 

Don’t know quite yet, the build quality is second to none though. It’s at the shop waiting to be installed.

 

Be prepared for heavier steering effort from the uniball bearings on the LCAs compared to greased ball joints.

 

Nice, is that secondary shock mount from BTF as well?

I’m used to squeaks, been dailying a car on heims for a while.

It’s gonna be drowned out by LS6 noises anyways.
