Broken bed rail cap? Anyone know the part number

    The guy at the furniture store was loading some items in my bed and I guess he grabbed the bed rail wrong and pulled the whole plastic piece on top completely off. When he did it he broke off 5 of the underside plastic clips the hold in on. I managed to get it back down with the 2 remaining clips. Anyone know the part number for the drivers side rail? image.jpg

    Damn right they are paying... Rec'd a call this morning from there claim department and they just needed the cost of new part. Hopefully I'll get the check in a few weeks.

    I see you have the OEM cover. The rails that you buy will not have the cut outs for the tonneau cover. You will need to modifying the rails yourself.

    That doesn't make sense. (I'm not saying you are wrong) Toyota should sell a part that's designed for the factory tonneau.

    The factory tonneau is a port installed option - which means it didn't come from the factory installed. That's why the bed rails are cut/modified to fit.

    As you can see by the part numbers, there is no bed rail specific to the factory tonneau. Just order a regular rail and get a dremel.
