If you are looking for an HIR part number, check out the HIR thread, as to not derail this one.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/gy6-35-hir-921-reverse-light-upgrade-vs-high-power-leds.474996/

For additional aux reverse lights, you might consider a flood light pod rather than a fog light pod. While fogs will throw nice and wide the cut off is not beneficial for reverse lights as you generally want to illuminate as much as possible.

just in case if you guys were worry about not using the red o rings that came with the kit, its not necessary as its a universal kit. good thing for our tacoma's its been fine without it.

anyone else notice interference with their backup camera after installing these?
Screen is grainy now from the power draw.
I do have an aftermarket backup camera tapped into reverse light for power so im sure that is the reason here.
Either way for FYI reasons, camera quality is decreased but these things are bright AF.

I'm having the same problem. Also noticed that occasionally the (aftermarket) camera just wont even turn on. I'm planning to change the tap connector type this week before my trip this weekend. I'll let you know if that fixes either issue.

I just went to install these now and it appears the blue silicone seal does not lock in like the oem socket. The blue tabs are larger than what's on the stock one. In theory the tabs are too big for the lightbulb to go through the opening.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I feel like an idiot, I kept pushing and it was just the rubber that kept compressing lol.

I'll go back out and twist instead. Damn cold here in Canada on the hands.

Tried installing them today. It didn't work out. Bent the posts as suggested but the pins are way too small of circumference. They make contact but flopped around in the socket. Used needle nose to squeeze the socket contacts and it was still way too loose.

At this point, since the contact posts are fairly long I began bending them in different directions but they were still very loose in the socket. Finally, even though I was using 2 pair of needle nose I taco'ed one of the legs and it broke off at the glass.

I'd guess if the pins were twice as thick it would work.

To be clear, I'm referring to the replacement 35w Osram 64432 lights suggested as replacements earlier in this thread, not LEDs.
