What's the word on these. I've been looking at similar size units, mostly the NOBO 10.6 but I ran across a used 2021 today and liked what I see. It is almost 1/2 the cost of a new NOBO. It doesn't have the roof top tent or some other features. But I can't see me ever using most of those features anyway.

It sits low enough to easily put gear on the roof rack and has a receiver for a bike rack or hitch haul on the rear bumper. Both the Braxton Creek and the NOBO have outdoor kitchens. The only advantage I see is a bit more headroom in the NOBO. But you can't stand up in either.

I don't know anything about this brand. Are they decent quality?

We bought a new 2020 NOBO 16.6 in March 2020 and got into it at a good price. After using it for about a year we liked it, but the floorplan just didn't work for us. We decided we either needed something a little bigger, or a lot smaller. We sold it in August for more than we paid. They had gone up $10,000 in 2 years. I asked $3K more than we paid and sold it in a week.

We pulled it to Colorado with our 2 oldest grandchildren, (11 and 13 at the time,) two years ago and it was just a little too small for 4 people. The kids needed bigger bunks and there was no way for 4 people to eat or move around inside.

My wife and I are retired and like to travel We've made multiple long road trips and usually take a tent to stay a few nights in campgrounds, and others in motels. I'm thinking that for the 2 of us something this small may be ideal and I can pull it with our Explorer or either of the trucks.

From what I know, the lift up doors have a hinge nicknamed the Hurricane Hinge, as they tend to leak. Traditional teardrops sacrifice a LOT of storage with that design.

    Check out www.hikertrailers.com

Pricing is honest, builds are solid.

I’ve been researching small trailers as well. From what I’ve seen online the Braxton creek trailers are a bit of a mixed bag. They seem to have some decent components but the build quality is spotty.

At the moment we are leaning towards an Intech flyer pursue but we haven’t committed to buying one yet. The square drop shape gives a bit more usable space inside but the slide out kitchen isn’t as convenient as the rear galley.
