400 miles on my 2023. Just went in for an alignment at dealer. They did it and said my toe was off a little bit. Got truck back. Drives the same and "drifts" right. Not the crown as It does it in level parking lots too. I have to hold the wheel slightly to the left to stay straight on roads. Any advice? Sat at the dealer for 5 hours for them to do it only to have the truck drive the same. Obviously bring it back but what else could it be

I’d go with the tech as the problem. It could be a bad tire I guess. Have the service advisor or lead mechanic take it for a quick test drive.

Is it pulling,or the steering wheel off center?

Did you get the spec sheet after the alignment? I usually try to get all the documentation I can for my truck as I have a binder it all goes into.

Probably the alignment you paid for. Take it back. After they "correct it" take it for your own test drive before signing off. Just because someone worked on your vehicle it doesn' mean they were qualified or did a proper job.

The term “pulling” means to me that you let go of the steering wheel on flat ground and the automobile steers one way or the other. The root cause is often a suspension alignment issue.

I think what you are describing is that the steering wheel is not perfectly aligned when driving straight. This is a lesser issue that can be remedied by adjusting the steering box and/or tie rods. I don’t think it’s a standard task preformed by alignment shops.

Personally I’ve rarely ever had an automobile with a perfected aligned steering wheel and it doesn’t bother me. Pulling on the other hand can be very annoying to me.

they never get the alignment right. i hate having alignment issues because it's nearly impossible to find a good alignment tech that strives for perfection. my truck is in the shop right now after a collision and they have to align it. i'm praying it's okay....

And it pulls all the time on every stretch of road?
Road crown will also cause a vehicle to veer one way or the other. Just a thought

Basics. Tires, painted headlighes, UHLM, baby winch in the bed, and heated mirrors :)
Not just annoying, pulling is the result of a poor alignment causing the tires to fight each other for control. Wears the tires (and steering/suspension parts) super quick and unevenly, and greatly reduces the grip vs slip threshold in wet conditions. Understeer is not a fun thing to be surprised with.

    OME and worth every penny.
I go through this every alignment it seems like. I'd almost rather chew up tires and see a crooked wheel as long as I don't have to fight to keep it on the road as to keep looking at a piece of paper telling me I'm imagining it because "See, numbers don't lie".
Pretty good chance the tech will say it feels good to him. Been my experience anyway.
Just go somewhere else unless you like to argue.

edit: Oh yeah, switch tires side to side as mentioned above. That's the problem as often as not.

Did you go to Coggin Toyota? LOL.

Post your printout. An alignment will only cause a pull if your caster is 1 degree or more left to right. It will pull to the low side. In this case your right caster would need to be a full degree lower. There are a few other things that can cause a pull. Air pressure would be the first check. Then cross rotate the front tires.

It won’t be too long before fear of uneven tire wear will be put on the list psychological disorders. I’m just attempting to make a funny.

If the wheel is in the center it goes to the right, on highway, non highway, parking lots etc. I have to hold the wheel to the left to stay straight anytime I drive it. They never gave me the numbers just this paper.

This is how far i have to hold the wheel to the left to go straight.

That sheet they gave is not helpful at all. You really need to see the numbers, and more specifically, the caster numbers. Unless your toe was way way out it won't cause a pull but lower caster on the passenger than the driver's side will. I would go to a dedicated alignment shop that knows how to diagnose and more importantly, which end of the specs to set your truck to and report back with their printout.

Are your tire pressures ok? Usually when I have this issue, it is either wind or crown of the road related. But I'm also not you.

See my thread, same exact issue, mine has 2k miles now. I have to hold the steering a bit to the right for the truck to go straight. They did an alignment and also wasted 5 hours of my time only to have the steering wheel in the same position. I called them back and they said bring it in but I haven’t had time yet.

the other issue is I gotta slam the doors for them to close.

shit show, you don’t see this crap in the cheapest Honda.

As others noted, this is not a pulling issue. The tie rods apparently have to be adjusted a bit to fix this.

when I took my truck to the dealer all their mechanics were young looking a bit lost with their Bluetooth headphones on jamming away.

yours is a bit more pronounced

Definitely shouldn't have to slam the doors. There are pressure vents in the rear of the cab that should prevent this unless you need to lube up the hinges/latches.

The striker is close to the latch for whatever reason, when I open the driver/ passenger door it cracks when it releases (opens). The back two doors are okay. I tried adjusting the striker but it is not adjustable.

What about your door hinges? Is there any play or room for adjustment? Almost sounds as if it is misaligned
