I’ve had no long term luck turning rotors. They’re cheap, replace them and be done. OEM pads are good, but I’ve really been liking the Napa Ultra Premium coated rotors and Adaptive One pads. I put a front set on my 07 Tacoma after two OEM sets (no longer own) and recently a front and rear set on my sisters 05 Trailblazer. In both cases the braking has been better than OEM, in my opinion. The Adaptive One pads are ceramic, so the OEM semi metallic pads are a better option if you are towing a lot.

Whatever pad you go with, I highly recommend the Ultra Premium Rotors. They have a guaranteed lateral run out of less than two thousandths. There other good rotors out there, but I keep going back to these. I have nothing but good things to say so far.

.002" is not a very tight tolerance for run-out. Radially it would be but laterally it is not. I wonder if they meant to say two tenths (.0002)?

70K miles on OEM pads and looking at same on 2nd set. Can't beat that IMO.

Akebono ProAct ceramic pads paired with Brembo blank rotors on my truck. Barely any noticeable pad wear at 20k miles, and it stops way better than stock.

Idk, but they’re priced in line with OEM rotors and look better (being coated) for longer. Like I said, I’ve had no issues with them so far. Most of the cheaper rotors on Rockauto say 4 thousandths or less, if they give a spec at all. Most people and shops pay no attention to runout, they just slap new pads/rotors on with whatever’s cheap and send them out the door.

I find OEM to be the best compromise for performance, noise, dust, and durability. However, unless you see large foreign debris embedded in the pad material, your vibrations typically aren't caused by the pads.

My own experience across three vehicles (two Tacomas and a Subaru):
Akebono (AST and ASP models) - noticeably reduced initial bite, feels as if the truck isn't stopping, quiet and dust-free, good corrosion resistance
Hawk HPS Street - similar performance, quietness, and dusting as OEM, but backing plate gets rusty after just two years
Centric Posi-quiet ceramic - similar performance, quietness, and dusting as OEM, but backing plate gets rusty after just two years

For rotors I would go with OEM, Centric Premium, or StopTech (which is made by Centric). StopTech slotted rotors clean better if you go off-road and drive through mud.

Had Hawk (SUV/LT) pads on my 07, and now on the 2015 with EBC black-coated rotors. Amazing pads No fade, really nice bite and no noise..

I replaced mine with OEM rotors and TRD pads, would definitely go with this setup again. Noticeably improved bite with the TRD pads. I replaced all of the caliper pins at the same time as well.

Should work just fine. I’ve heard the trd pads produce more dust tho. I’ve never tried them myself.

I have the EBC pads. Pedal feel and stopping is way better than stock. But, brake dust is horrible.

As others have said they should fit. Here's a link to the fitment guide I referenced: https://www.liaparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-trd-brake-pads-ptr0989111

I also noticed more dust but the improved bite was worth it.
