    I tried finding something
in the search function but couldn’t locate what I’m needing.

Just installed the Ironman Foamcell Pro stage 1 kit and there’s no place to re-attach the rear brake lines after new leaf pack changed out (or the mechanic things so). What have others done to attach?

There should be a threaded hole in the leaf spring bracket that the factory bracket bolts to with original hardware
Check to see if the hole is there or at the other end of the springs if they are on backwards

Those are your emergency brake cables, mechanical not hydraulic. I honestly cut that bracket off. I'm still getting to 500 miles on the new lift at which point I'm going to retorque everything and check for any rubbing issues. If I see some, I'll use a coated hose clamp and section of slightly larger hose as an insulator. I've climbed under there, no visible wear yet.

So your just letting it hang free, right? And adding the rub protection as preventative.

For now. It's a pretty ridged cable. It's connected at the frame still. I too didn't have the threaded hole in the replacement springs. I didn't want to deal with drilling and a tap and die on the spring clamp.

One of the other leaf keepers should have a crossbolt? Just mount it there. You may have to open up the hole on the factory bracket with a stepped drill bit.

Ironman picture for reference, not sure which end is for the front:

I've seen that setup chaf the sheath and get hung up on the wrong side of the keepers.

I reamed, attached mine to a keeper, and then bent it with channel locks to follow the angle of the line.

This hole here should be it. You might need to trim that rubber a bit for that stand-off on the cable to sit flush though.

Sorry, but that is the wrong answer. Mine with RXTs was already catching on a keeper. Thankfully I didn't cut them and was thinking about what to do.

Zip tie a heater hose around the part that rubs.

Copy and thanks for all the helpful records! After taken another look I see the threaded holes are indeed there. I just to now find what size bolts attach that bracket. Anyone with the kit have an idea?

I think I feel better with it attached. I’m not going to over flex mine, at least not on purpose,

I think it was the same bolt they came out of the other leaf pack… or I had a spare one from another project, sorry I can’t quite remember.
