Brake light 2015 tacoma

Brake light went out on 2015 Tacoma. Bought bulbs and opened assembly to find no brake light. Appears to be a “mother board” instead for the brake light. There are bulbs for the other lights. Any idea how to replace the brake light? Do I have to replaced the entire assembly?

 

Welcome to Tacoma World. It's very likely your 2015 has LED brake lights. No bulb to replace, it's an entire assembly. Short of taking apart the housing and fixing the internal electronics (which probably isn't worth it), best option is to check the classified ads for used ones or buy something aftermarket.
