A few years back I bought a 22” double row LED light bar and a pair of flood pods that I planned to mount on the roof rack of my Jeep. Dealing with a health setback, it never happened and they’re still in the boxes. Recently I wised up & bought a new 2020 Tacoma Limited that I’m crazy about.
Now I’m trying to figure out if I can mount the 22” bar inside my bumper, but all I read about are the 30” & 33” light bars for that space. Anyone have experience mounting a shorter bar in that space? Do I need custom brackets to fit it in there, or is it possible to use the small “L” brackets provided?
I figure I can use the pods for ditch lights or backups, for which there are lots O’Brackets available. Not so for the shorter light bar, though I think it can throw plenty of light from my bumper.

I love my new Tacoma and I don’t want to make a mess of things with this project, drilling etc.. I think I’m ok with the wiring, it’s the mounting I’m trying to solve. Any advice? I’m in no rush, but since I have it, I’d like to figure it out - if it’s possible. Thank you.

I have that product. Was in the same dilemma so I emailed zroadz. They told me it is 22" from mounting point to mounting point. End up getting Diode dynamics 18" light bar so it didn't quite fit into the hole on the metal frame on bottom of the grill from the instructions. End up just drilling 2 holes into the metal frame and it worked out great. I mounted the light bar to the brackets and placed it into the location and mark where the new holes need to be drilled. hope this helps you

For the cost and ease of install I’d recommend up sizing and going with the Cali Raised 32” bar. The brackets fit really well and the light bar sits tucked in the lower grill.
