Looking to get a 4000-5000watt amo for my 2 12's. Yes, I will adjust the amp where the subs won't blow. But, which amp is better? Planet audio is about 130$ and the boss is about 100$

4-5kw does not exist for that money, besides that, making that kind of power would require an additional alternator.

you could probably get 1000w-1500w for ~$150

Both are junk, 1 thread is good enough for all the answers. I feel like we are going around and round in circles with this stuff.
The cheapest Quality and good amp that makes rated power you can get is 1.8kw for around 220$. If its anything less than that, its junk so don't even bother.

The subs we have access to for tacoma type boxes will also not allow for any subs that can take more than 1kw RMS

4-5 kWatt amp for $100...lol yeah no, not gonna happen! IMO spend a few hundred and buy a quality amp with realistic power output claims. What subs do you have??

What subs are these first of all? And even if you "adjust" the amp so they won't blow, that still might not be right. You could be clipping the sub and not know it until it's to late
