Boss Elite BE10ACP Parking Brake Bypass

I'm getting ready to throw this in my truck.

Anyone know if I can ground it or if I have to put a pulse bypass on it?

I can't seem to find a solid answer anywhere.

Did you ever solve this, and what is your impression of the unit overall? Looking closely at available units and this one is a strong contender for me.

 

Still not sure what to do on it.
Overall it’s a decent unit for the size.
The cons are:

for some reason the volume will start going up by itself when you’re still plugged in. (On CarPlay) you can fix that by putting no delay on the power in settings

Your camera quality will go down slightly. I don’t think it’s too big of a deal

I put kickers in my doors and after adding this, it hits pretty good. Max volume 43.

I had Crutchfield do my harness for me because I’m lazy and it’s been a while since I’ve messed with audio wiring.

the last is finding a spot to mount your phone if you wanted it.
A vent mount with some sort of stability is $80 lowest so far

I do love it overall though.
It’s pretty damn big and the internal amp is great.

there are a couple videos that will have you simply ground it. Now it’s a matter of figuring out how Crutchfield wired this crap.

 

Thanks for the update. I think at this point I'm leaning more towards the Jensen CAR910X since that is also a nice large screen, looks higher res, and I believe can be flush mounted instead of floating. Either way, I'm just tired of my bluetooth dropping constantly on my Entune head unit!
