I just installed one of these. I chose this over the URD as I do not care for the noise they produce, and over the AFE because that doesn't actually reroute the exhaust and still hangs under the frame. Overall the Borla is a pretty nice y-pipe and I would recommend but it's not without its issues. Hopefully the following info can help someone looking into this system.

The good: It's beautifully built and looks fantastic, comes with all necessary heat shields and makes the truck sound a little throatier giving it a tone more similar to the 4.0l on accel (mine's paired with the MF Overland catback), but seems a little quieter on the highway.

The bad: Their instructions say to reuse the stock donut gasket between the y-pipe and catback, but the 60mm stock gasket does not fit on their 62mm piping, so I had to source a replacement. The passenger side of the piping would allow for perfect fitment if it were about 1/2" longer.

Post from my build thread here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/drizzohs-21-off-road-build.748190/page-8#post-28349851

    Oh man…
I’ve been trying to decide on a y-pipe. This looks like the ticket! I have the factory TRD exhaust but I’ve definitely contemplated the MF exhaust.

I really like it. I have heard from others they did not have fitment issues, so mabe they fixed it. Probably will sound awesome with the trd.

Wow that’s a bad ass y-pipe! Definitely something to look in to down the road.

As far as the Borla, I’m pretty impressed with the fit and ease of install. I don’t notice any increased sound, but it does keep all the factory cats. For what it is, I think it’s a great option.
